Rachael Rose, M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a Manhattan based speech/language therapist providing pediatric speech therapy, oral motor therapy, language therapy, feeding therapy, and social skills therapy. She is nationally certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association and state licensed in New York. She also holds the certificate of Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (T.S.S.L.D). She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Masters degree from Loyola University in Speech-Language Pathology. Rachael has worked for over 15 years in the public school system and in the private sector. She has also earned two national ACE awards for continuing education through the American Speech and Hearing Association (A.S.H.A.).
Rachael has extensive experience working with children with feeding disorders, autism, apraxia, Down Syndrome, articulation disorders, phonological processing disorders, language disorders, and selective mutism. She also has experience working with Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson’s Oral Placement Therapy, P.R.O.M.P.T, Social Thinking, Visualizing and Verbalizing Language Comprehension and Thinking Program. She is a creative therapist who focuses on tailoring individualized therapeutic programs for each child based on her knowledge of traditional and innovative techniques. She strongly encourages collaboration with parents, teachers, and other therapists.
